Fun time with Weve

So, we needed something to liven up our remote work socials, you know? Decided to try Weve's Virtual Happy Hour. It was actually a blast! The host kept things moving and we all had a good laugh. Way better than just another Zoom call. Definitely recommend it if your team needs a pick-me-up. Felt pretty chill and relaxed afterward, which is a big win for us.

Fun event, easy setup

Booked a Remote Work Social with Weve. We did a Trivia Night. The setup was simple, and the event started on time. Everyone had fun. Good break from work. I wish the session was a bit longer, but it was still good.

Decent, but a small hiccup

We booked the Escape Room for our department, and overall it was a good experience. The activities were engaging and the team enjoyed the challenge. The facilitator was energetic and kept everyone involved. My only small issue was with the initial communication; it took about two days longer than I expected to get a confirmation email after booking, which made me a little antsy. Once that came through, everything else was smooth sailing. The actual event went off without a hitch and was well-organized. Good value, but that initial wait was a bit annoying.

Great value for a new client

As a first-time buyer for our non-profit, I was really focused on getting the most for our budget. Weve offered a solid non-profit discount for the Virtual Team Building event. I compared it to a few other places and this felt like the best deal for what we got. The process was smooth from quote to execution, and our team really enjoyed the activity. It felt worth the investment, especially with the savings we got. Happy with this purchase for sure.

Consistently good experiences

This was our third time using Weve, this time for an In-Person Team Building event, and they delivered again. We've done virtual and hybrid before, and each time the planning was straightforward and the facilitators were professional. It's nice to know what to expect and that it'll be a quality event. We always consider them first when planning these kinds of activities. No surprises, which is what you want.

Good team bonding, small tech issue

We used Weve for a Virtual Team Building session for our distributed team last month. The 'Original Game Show' concept was a hit, and the facilitator did a great job keeping everyone engaged. It was pretty easy to get everyone logged in, which was a relief. The planning process was smooth too; their team was responsive and helped tailor some questions to our company. My only minor complaint was a brief audio glitch for about 30 seconds during one of the rounds, but it resolved itself quickly. Overall, it was a positive experience and really helped with team bonding, especially for our newer remote hires. I thought the value for the price was fair given the customization.

Good team event

We did the Original Game Show for our team. It was fun. Facilitator was good. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Booking was easy enough. Got what we paid for.

Amazing experience, definitely recommend!

We booked a Murder Mystery Game for our corporate retreat last weekend and it was fantastic! From the initial inquiry to the actual event, Weve made everything so easy. The facilitators were energetic and really brought the characters to life, making everyone feel comfortable participating. Our team was laughing and strategizing the whole time. It was a really unique way to get everyone interacting outside of work tasks. The only tiny thing was that the instructions for one of the clues could have been a little clearer at the start, but we figured it out quickly. We're already planning our next event with them, maybe an Escape Room next! It was truly a memorable experience!

considering their virtual platform for a big company event, like 1000+ people. Can their tech even handle that many without crashing?

J Jessica S. 3 weeks ago
They say they can handle groups over 1000 people. I haven't done one that big myself, but a colleague did a remote social for about 500 and it ran really smoothly.

B Brian 3 weeks ago
They specialize in large group stuff, so I'd be surprised if it was an issue. I know they're built on 'The Go Game' tech, which has been around a while for big events. Might be worth asking for a demo if you're worried though.

Anyone know if Weve does anything for non-profits? Our budget's kinda tight but we really want to do a team event.

A Abigail W. 1 month ago
Yes! They definitely have non-profit pricing. You'll need to contact them for a custom quote, it's not like a public discount code though.

J Jeff N. 1 month ago
My organization got a discount. Just mention you're a non-profit when you inquire, they're usually pretty good about it.

Is Weve better than Teambuilding.com or Confetti for a virtual escape room? Looking for something really engaging.

S Sean J. 3 weeks ago
I've only used Weve but their virtual escape room was super high energy, much more than some other platforms I've seen. Facilitators make a huge difference too.

We did a Weve virtual game and it was really well put together. Heard good things about Teambuilding.com too but Weve felt more 'produced' if that makes sense.

Hey, thinking of using Weve for our company's holiday party. Do they usually do any special deals around December for that kind of thing?

K Kyle White 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I think they do. My team booked a holiday party package last year around October/November and got a slightly better rate. Worth asking them directly.

R Rachel A. 3 weeks ago
They don't really do public promo codes for most stuff, but I know for larger events or seasonal packages they sometimes offer custom quotes. So yeah, could be a thing for a holiday party.

Anyone used Weve for a non-profit? Wondering if they give discounts for that kind of organization.

B Ben 3 weeks ago
I'm pretty sure they do. My friend's non-profit got a special rate for an event last year. You probably just need to reach out to them directly for a quote.

E Ella Phillips 3 weeks ago
Yep, they definitely have non-profit pricing. It's not like a public coupon code or anything, but if you contact their sales team they'll sort you out. We got a decent deal for our charity bike build event.

Thinking about a virtual team building thing for my remote team, maybe like 50 people. Are their games actually fun or just kinda cheesy? And what's the typical duration?

N Nick Hernandez 1 month ago
We did an 'Original Game Show' with them for about 70 people last month. It was pretty good! Our team actually got into it, definitely not cheesy like some other virtual stuff. I think it was around an hour and a half, maybe two hours total with intros.

S Stephanie Lewis 1 month ago
Yeah, I've heard good things about their game shows. We did a virtual happy hour thing and it was structured pretty well. Duration depends on the game, but they usually list it out or you can ask the sales rep. For 50 people, they can totally handle that.

How does Weve compare to Teambuilding.com or Confetti? We've used both of those before and they were okay, but looking for something a bit more engaging.

S Sean White 1 month ago
We've used Confetti and Weve. Weve felt a lot more facilitated and high-energy. Confetti was a bit more 'do it yourself' in my experience, which is fine, but Weve had better hosts.

M Megan H. 1 month ago
I think Weve is more about the live facilitated games. Teambuilding.com and Confetti have a wider range but sometimes feel less polished. If you want something with a good host and a proper 'show', Weve is probably a step up.

How many people can actually join these virtual games? We're a pretty big company, like 500+ employees.

A Andrew Garcia 1 month ago
They can handle huge groups, way more than that. I think they even say they can do over 1000 sometimes. You'll be fine.

We did an event with about 300 people last year and it ran super smoothly. They're built for big numbers.
